Glenfiddich resurrects the lost tradition of maturing in rum casks with this 21 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky. They import rum from the Caribbean and mature it in casks at Dufftown. These casks are then emptied and filled with 21 Year Old Glenfiddich, infusing the whisky with the unique rich and indulgent sweetness lingering in the wood.
The casks are sampled routinely by the Malt Master and hand selected only when the whisky has acquired a luxurious vibrancy, whilst retaining the unmistakable character of Glenfiddich Single Malt.

"Bright orange amber color. Aromas of toasty grain, sweet cream, honey and dried fruits have a delicate mossy, peat note and follow through on a soft supple entry to dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with refined depth and balance. Concludes with lush buttery praline, sweet brown spices, and damp earth accents on the long, gentle finish. A very elegant and nuanced single malt that is eminently drinkable."
