The flavour is doubled by maturing in two American oak barrels, the latter being a smaller Quarter cask, giving increased contact with oak. The deep, complex and smoky flavours surprise the palate with gentle sweetness.
Colour: Sparkling Gold.
Nose: Initial burs of sweet peat smoke complemented by a smooth, velvety, coconut cream flavour.
Body: A mouth enveloping intensity of flavour that is quite astounding.
Taste: An immensely powerful, smoky-peat flavour allied with a gentle creaminess, with just a hint of salt.
Finish: Incredibly long and dry.
