An exclusive bottling of Highland Park whisky for Mjolner - the Sydney and Melbourne venues in Australia.
Whisky was matured in three different cask types - newly emptied ex Sherry European oak casks, newly emptied ex Sherry American oak casks and some ex whisky refill casks for around 14 years. The whisky was bottled at cask strength. The combination of flavours from all three casks delivers great complexity and the higher alc/vol gives power to the flavours.
The whisky is big in flavour, showing dried fruits, honey, spice and cocoa, delivering a long finish with gentle peat smoke whiffing through. It opens well with the addition of a little water.
This limited bottling is sure to become a future collector's item - only 1,731 bottles produced. Australia exclusive.
