Limeburners Whisky Liqueur is a rich smooth blend of local karri honey (unique to Western Australia) and selected batches of Limeburners malt whisky, then infused with exotic spices. The result is a very pleasant, warming whisky with lingering flavours of honeycomb and spice. This liqueur is lighter than other liqueurs, showing an elegant balance between the whisky and honey. It is delicious to drink on its own at room temperature or with a small amount of ice to enhance the honey flavours.
While this recipe is a closely guarded blend, our Master Distillery has let slip that it is based on a fusion of ancient Irish and Swiss recipes, some (but not all of the herbs) include cinnamon, coriander, exotic citrus, star anise and selected Tahitian & Madagascan Vanillas.
