Miyagikyo Single Malt Japanese Whisky
Shows the characteristics of Nikka’s second distillery built in 1969. It is said that Masataka took three years to discover this site in the mountains of Sendai, glimpsing the Nikkawa river through a gap in the trees. Once discovered Masataka saw the amazing contrast to his first distillery, Yoichi, which is in the coastal area. Miyaigkyo is located in an area known for its pure air and the quality of its natural springs, producing a refined malt Whisky, described as delicate and fruity. Miyagikyo Single Malt has an elegant fruitiness and a distinctive aroma with a strong Sherry cask influence.
This product meets all the criteria of “Japanese whisky“ defined by the Japan Spirits & Liqueur Makers Association.
